Red Teaming & Adversary Simulation

Red Teaming & Adversary Simulation

A realistic, multi-week test of whether people, processes and technology can detect and stop a determined attacker.

Overview

A penetration test looks for as many weaknesses as possible in a defined scope. A red-team exercise has one objective, for example moving money out of a payment system or reading the chairman's email, and pursues it quietly over several weeks using whatever route works: phishing, a phone call to the service desk, a lost badge or a forgotten server.

Only a small control group in your organisation knows the exercise is running. At the end we replay the attack with your defenders, step by step, and show where they could have caught it. Many clients follow with a purple-team week, in which our operators repeat each technique while your SOC tunes its detections.

How an engagement runs

  1. Scope and rules of engagement

We agree objectives, scope, timing and authority in writing before any testing or monitoring starts.

  2. Assess

We establish what you have, how it is exposed and what an attacker would target first.

  3. Prioritise

Findings ranked by business impact, with a remediation plan your team can act on.

  4. Protect and verify

Controls implemented, then retested to confirm the fix works.

  5. Monitor and respond

24/7 detection, with a tested plan and our responders on call when an incident occurs.
