Sulfur is recovered as a by-product of oil refining and gas processing, and the Gulf is one of the largest exporting regions in the world. We buy granulated and lump sulfur from regional producers and ship it to fertilizer plants, acid producers and mining operations.
Cargoes are loaded on handysize and supramax bulk carriers in parcels of 10,000 to 50,000 tonnes. Quality is certified at loading for purity, ash, acidity and carbon content.
