Bagged or bulk: how to ship urea to East Africa
The choice between bulk urea and bags filled at origin decides your freight cost, your discharge time and how quickly fertilizer reaches farmers before planting.
Urea & Fertilizers
Nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers for importers, distributors and blending plants.
Overview
Gulf producers are among the lowest-cost suppliers of urea in the world. Our fertilizer desk buys granular and prilled urea from regional plants, together with DAP and NPK grades, and sells to importers and distributors in East Africa, South Asia and beyond.
Fertilizers ship in bulk or in 50 kg bags, depending on the destination. We arrange bagging, fumigation where required, and the phytosanitary and quality documents each import market asks for.
